Section XXI:
Dr. Trescott explains to Jimmie that it isn’t okay to provoke Henry like that. Then Trescott calls on the Winter home to check up on the little girl that Henry frightened. The Winters turn Trescott away.
Trescott is losing all of his patients because of his tainted reputation. The Winters still hold him responsible for creating Henry the monster. This is the first time in the story that Trescott shows anger. He is angry at the Winters for treating him so when he is trying to help their daughter. Trescott is the only man who refuses to think of Henry as a monster.
